Who is True Marketing?
An association of UK and Irish food and drink marketing specialists, brought together by Menter a Busnes and the WAG Food Directorate to grow Welsh food and drink businesses linking in with a similar programme for Irish food and drink companies.
Why True Marketing?
Many small food and drink producers are hampered in their growth by a lack of management time for business development. Companies recognise what they need to do but are constantly frustrated by the constraints of running their business. True Marketing brings together good companies and effective business people who act as mentors with the aim of creating even better companies. Client companies receive mentoring support from an experienced sales and marketing professional from the food sector together with access to high quality training. The project is funded by INTERREG IIIA, Welsh Assembly Government, Bord Bia and Enterprise Ireland.
Who is eligible?
Any food producing business employing under 500 people based in Gwynedd, Ynys Mon, Conwy, Denbighshire, Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Please note that there are certain categories of food product that cannot be assisted, please refer to the project manager Bethan Sian Jones for information:
