What are Diversification Seminars?

Menter a Busnes are responsible for providing a series of seminars across Wales which will give information to businesses from the agricultural and woodland sector who are interested in diversification.

Why does the scheme exist?

The scheme has been developed as part of Farming Connect, a National Assembly Government programme, in order to share information on the necessary elements which you need to be conscious of when diversifying.

How does it work?

The seminars are held on farms which have already diversified, and offers an opportunity to tour the established business during the event. Help and advice will be available with:- the first stages of developing an idea, market research, the planning process, preparing a business plan, marketing, appointing staff, and managing the business. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and to discuss matters further.

Where is the service available?

There will be 9 seminars held every year and attendees will be limited to 30 per seminar.
