What is Agrisgop?

Agrisgop is an unique and innovative scheme based on the action learning concept, with the aim of assisting farmers to facilitate the development of their business.

Why does it exist?

The scheme was developed as part of the Welsh Assembly Government Farming Connect programme. It works with groups of farmers to create and develop business ideas and opportunities. The scheme was established to help farmers to consider the future; how they would like to see their business develop in 5–10 years, and to help them reach that goal.

How does it work?

Menter a Busnes have appointed Leaders based all over Wales. One of the Leaders‘ tasks is to establish groups of farmers and to work with the group for a specific period of time. Whilst the group works together there is an additional opportunity for each individual to have one to one support.

Each group meets at least six times and develop their ideas between these meetings.

Where is it available?

Agrisgop is open to any member of a farming family in Wales, however; only a limited number of opportunities are available, and all member have to be members of the Farming Connect scheme.
