Ty Tanglwyst reducing food miles

Ty Tanglwyst reducing food miles Having recently won a Wales the True Taste award, it’s no wonder that Rhys Lougher of Ty Tanglwyst Dairy and his family are smiling – their Ty Tanglwyst branded milk has well and truly taken off. The development of the dairy was the brainchild of Rhys, who had toyed with the idea of adding value to their milk from the 120 acre farm in Pyle, near Bridgend. He has now taken this forward after identifying the opportunity to provide locally produced, fresh high quality milk to the local community. Rhys has received mentoring from Total Food Marketing mentor David Edwards, to help him to launch and market the budiness, he commented: "I would certainly recommend Total Food Marketiing which has been amazing, thank you so much for all your guidance and much needed support and encouragement.

Llaeth y Llan

Llaeth y Llan Llaeth Y Llan are creating quite a stir on breakfast tables across Wales and the rest of Britain with their delicious new ‘Bora Da’ range – Welsh for ‘Good Morning’! The launch of the Bore Da! Range by Clwyd West MP Gareth Thomas at The Speciality Food Show – September 2004 heralds an exciting development for Gareth and Falmai – the producers of Llaeth y Llan’s superbly indulgent dessert yoghurts for over twenty years. The bright, lively new ‘heart’ logo has helped identify Bora Da with a health conscious eater, and place it firmly on both breakfast tables and in lunch boxes across Britain! True Marketing introduced Llaeth y Llan to Gareth Evens – who has 30 years experience of working in the Dairy Industry at a senior level – to help them to develop a new marketing strategy, look at new routes to market in central and northwest England and identify new customers – both in the UK and possibly overseas.
