The Ffatri Fenter programme from June 2008 is now available in Anglesey and Arfon, Gwynedd.

Are you over 16, unemployed or a further education student and live in Anglesey or Arfon? Do you want further support to develop or to test a business idea? This is the service for you!

Our team provide assistance for individuals to pilot their business ideas for a specific time. This opportunity means that you can gain experience of running a business and test the value of your business idea, whilst safeguarding your benefits or continuing to undertake personal commitments e.g. college studies and family support responsibilities. Menter a Busnes since September 2008 have established an agreement with Jobcentreplus that our client‘s benefits are safeguarded during the test trading period.

What do we Offer?

• One coordinator who works very closely with clients to ensure a service of the highest standard.
• Assistance to develop ideas
• An opportunity to discuss and to receive informal support with a mentor who is already running a business
• Assistance to write a business plan i.e. putting ideas down on paper
• Assistance to construct a cash flow forecast to see if there is any potential to make profit.
• Putting clients in touch with specialists form every sector to answer their advice and training needs
• Assistance with planning and conducting market research
• Referring clients on to other business support agencies who can provide further assistance
• Promoting the new businesses and assistance to write a marketing strategy
• Tailored creative session

Siop y Porth

Ffatri Fenter Taste of Enterprise has developed aunique incubation space called Siop y Porth,where clients can test drive their business ideaand promote their goods or services in Holyheadtown centre. This is an addition to the usualsupport package available from the project.Clients wishing to try out their business idea cantake advantage of the following additionalfacilities free of charge for up to a 6 month period:

* A shop window to promote their goods

* Beauty therapy area

* Computer room

* Meeting room
