Pettitt: Growers’ backs against the wall

Sarah Pettitt has urged growers to lobby their politicians amid fears that the fight for an effective retail adjudicator is ‘slipping’. 
The NFU horticulture board chairman said that the Groceries Supply Code of Practice (GSCOP) had to allow evidence of retailer malpractice to be submitted by credible third parties if it was to be properly enforced.
