Over the last seven days, a farming policy panel has been set up in Wales to advise the Welsh Government on food and agriculture. The Welsh Government has also announced that young farmers from across Wales can now apply for the Young Entrants Support Scheme (YESS), from 24 October to 16 December 2011. The Welsh Food Advisory Committee of the Food Standards Agency is holding an open meeting in Cardiff on Thursday 10 November 2011. Finally, as part of a UK wide consultation, the Welsh Government is asking for views on the amendments to the Wine Regulations 2011.
