The British Beer & Pub Association has said pub beer sales fell by 4.3 per cent from July to September compared with last year – equivalent to 45 million fewer pints – while supermarket and off-licence sales were up. Finally, accomplished cider maker Blaengawney Cider has received assistance from the Budding Business Grant Scheme that has allowed them to buy more efficient equipment to make their cider.
